EMI = P × r × (1+r)^n / ((1+r)^n − 1), where P is the principal (including any capitalised moratorium interest), r is the monthly interest rate and n is the number of monthly instalments.
A period — usually your course length plus 6–12 months — when you don't pay EMIs. Interest usually still accrues and is added to the principal unless you pay it.
If you can, paying simple interest during the moratorium reduces your total repayment significantly.
